Beratung für lebensentfaltende Bildung

Abstract

Beratung ist für Bildung, Beruf und Beschäftigung grundlegend, aber auch für individuelle, gemeinschaftliche und politische Zusammenhänge zunehmend wirkmächtig. Gleichzeitig benötigt eine lebensumspannende und offene Beratung zu Inhalten und Formaten gerade vor dem Hintergrund gesellschaftlicher Umbrüche und individueller Komplexität von Berufs- und Bildungsbiografien Gehör in Disziplin und Praxis der Erwachsenenbildung. Der Beitrag möchte die Notwendigkeit und Tragfähigkeit einer lebensumspannenden Beratung unter Berücksichtigung von Peter Faulstichs Begriff der „lebensentfaltenden Bildung“ skizzieren.

Counselling is fundamental for education, work and employment, but it is also increasingly effective for individual, community and political contexts. At the same time, life-spanning and open advice on content and formats needs to be heard, especially against the background of social upheavals and the individual complexity of professional and educational biographies. The article aims to outline the necessity and viability of life-unfolding counselling, taking into account Peter Faulstich’s concept of „life-developing education“.
