| dc.description.abstract | Diese Masterarbeit verfolgt das Ziel, eine Terminologieliste für die Übersetzung ins Englische des Handbuchs Barrierefreie Kommunikation (Maaß und Rink 2018) zu erstellen. Als Basis dafür dienen die Ansätze von Wüster und Arntz, Picht und Schmitz zur Allgemeinen Terminologielehre, der kommunikative Ansatz von Cabré, der sozio-kognitive Ansatz von Temmermann und der Frame-basierte Ansatz von Faber. Diese Theorien werden dem pragmatischen Ansatz des Projekts gemäß angewandt. Die Erstellung der Terminologieliste wurde manuell durchgeführt und fand in drei Arbeitsphasen statt: Identifizierung von Terminologie-Themenblöcken, Terminologieextraktion aus dem Handbuch und Zuordnung der Termini zu den Themenblöcken. Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich zudem mit den verschiedenen Herausforderungen bei der Terminologiearbeit und mit politischer Korrektheit, die bei der Übersetzung gewahrt werden muss. | de_DE |
| dc.description.abstract | This master's thesis aims to create a terminology list for the translation of Handbuch Barrierefreie Kommunikation [Handbook on Barrier-free Communication] (Maaß und Rink 2018) into English. It is based on the approaches of Wüster and Arntz, Picht and Schmitz to general terminology, the communicative approach of Cabré, the socio-cognitive approach of Temmermann and the frame-based approach of Faber. These theories are applied according to the pragmatic approach of the project. The terminology list was compiled manually in three steps: identifying subject areas for the terminology, extracting terminology from the manual and allocating terms to the respective subject areas. This thesis also deals with the various challenges in Terminology and the political correctness that must be maintained in the translation. | en_GB |
