In this work, a new synthetic approach of Ï -conjugated plasma polymers is developed by means of pulsed low pressure plasmas and predesigned aromatic precursors. The structure preservative synthesis of organic Ï -conjugated plasma polymers was carried out for the first time. The aromaticity of the precursors was fully retained and selective coupling of aromatic structures in para-position was archived in high degree. The precursors 1,4-Benzenedithiol and 4-Iodoaniline were used to prepare plasmapoly(p-phenylene sulfide) and plasmapolyaniline. The high-precisely deposited thin films could be p-doped in situ or post-synthetically. Chemical structures and physico-chemical properties could be investigated in detail particularly with XPS-, UV-VIS-NIR-, IR-, NMR-, ESR-, and impedance-spectroscopy. The synthesized doped plasma polymers showed clear resistive conduction behavior with an increase of conductivity up to 8 orders of magnitude, compared to the undoped conventional polymer. |
