Abstract

This paper explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and physical computing into art and design education. Through two courses, students with little programming experience engaged in hands-on experimentation using tools like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Mediapipe. The study highlights key learning outcomes, creative projects, and challenges, demonstrating how AI and robotics can expand artistic practices. By fostering accessibility and innovation, this framework offers a model for integrating emerging technologies into creative curricula.
