Zirkulierendes Wissen : didaktische Lernmaterialien als Objekte trans-epistemischer Kooperation

Abstract

Seit einigen Jahren beobachtet die sozialwissenschaftliche Schul- und Unterrichtsforschung die Rolle schulischen Lehr- und Lernmaterials. Fokussiert wird dabei vor allem die soziale Verwendung der meist bereits fertig vorliegenden Materialien im Vollzugsgeschehen des Unterrichts. Dieser Beitrag tritt einen Schritt zurück und beobachtet stattdessen die Herstellung und Verwendung solcher Objekte vor ihrer Produktreife. Anhand eines Fallbeispiels einer Kooperation zwischen zwei Schulen und einem bildungswirtschaftlichen Technologieunternehmen wird die Entwicklung und Erprobung einer Lernsoftware sowie dazugehöriger VR-Technologie untersucht. Es wird analysiert, wie Lehrkräfte und Firmenmitarbeiter/innen in die jeweils anderen Praxiskontexte eingebunden werden und dabei ihr technisches resp. didaktisches Wissen wechselseitig füreinander verfügbar machen. In der kooperativen Arbeit an digitalen didaktischen Objekten werden Grenzziehungen zwischen Schule und Unternehmen temporär transzendiert. Die Objekte, die auf dieser Basis anwendungsorientiert entwickelt werden, erweisen sich als Resultat einer trans-epistemischen kooperativen Regulation von didaktischen „Visionen“ und technischer „Machbarkeit“. Indem die verschiedenen Dimensionen der kooperativen gewerblichen Fertigung digitaler didaktischer Objekte sowie deren prototypisches Versuchsstadium in den Blick genommen werden, analysiert der Beitrag den Prozess der Digitalisierung von Unterricht als ein innovatives soziales Geschehen, das durch ökonomische, technische und didaktische Rationalitäten strukturiert wird.

In recent years, classroom researchers have increasingly turned to the use of didactical teaching materials. Mostly addressing objects already designed and fabricated, the majority of studies have focused on the social use of such resources in class. This paper takes a step back in order to observe how didactical objects are developed and tested before going into production. Looking at a cooperation between two schools and a company specialized in digital teaching materials, it investigates the development of a learning software and its corresponding VR tech nology. It analyzes how teachers and company employees involved one another into each other’s working environments and how they, in doing so, made their technical and didactic knowledge mutually available, thereby temporarily transcending the boundaries between school and company. The educational objects developed for application in class thus result from a trans-epistemic process of cooperative regu lation between educational “vision” and technological “feasibility”. By looking at the various dimensions of the cooperative commercial production of digital educa tional objects at the stage of prototype development and testing, the paper analyzes the digitalization of school teaching as an innovative social process structured by economic, technological and educational rationalities.
