Abstract: | Siri Hustvedt's The Shaking Woman, The Sorrows of an American and The Blazing World are analyzed in the field of life writing, life sciences and narrative medicine. The analysis approaches how characters can overcome life crises and mental health issues by working with autobiographical memories through art and specific writing strategies. The characters are studied from the perspective of neuropsychoanalysis to understand relational and emotional dynamics. |
