dc.description.abstract	Teilhabe an Musikkultur stellt eine zentrale Zieldimension musikpädagogischen Lehrens und Lernens dar. Gleichzeitig werden der musikalisch-kulturellen Teilhabe positive Wirkungen auf die allgemeine Lebenszufriedenheit von Kindern und Jugendlichen zugesprochen. Ausgehend vom Capability Approach wird empirisch geprüft, inwiefern sich die Teilhabe an Musikkultur in formalen und informellen Kontexten auf die domänenspezifische Lebenszufriedenheit in Musik sowie auf die allgemeine subjektive Lebenszufriedenheit auswirken. Zusätzlich werden die Persönlichkeitsmerkmale (Big Five) als Prädiktoren mit einbezogen, da diese als relevant für die Einschätzung der individuellen Lebenszufriedenheit gelten. Es kann gezeigt werden, dass Teilhabe an Musikkultur in formalen (nicht aber informellen) Kontexten die allgemeine subjektive Lebenszufriedenheit nur indirekt über die domänenspezifische Lebenszufriedenheit in Musik positiv beeinflusst. Die Big Five-Persönlichkeitsfaktoren leisten einen zusätzlichen signifikanten Beitrag zur Aufklärung der Varianz allgemeinen und domänenspezifischen Lebenszufriedenheit.	de_DE
dc.description.abstract	Participation in musical culture is a central aim of music teaching and learning. At the same time, musical-cultural participation is said to have positive effects on the general life satisfaction of children and adolescents. Based on the capability approach, we empirically examine the extent to which participation in music culture in formal and informal contexts affects domain-specific life satisfaction in music as well as general subjective life satisfaction. In addition, personality traits (Big Five) are included as predictors, as they are considered relevant for the assessment of individual life satisfaction. It can be shown that participation in music culture in formal (but not informal) contexts positively influences general subjective life satisfaction only indirectly via domain-specific life satisfaction in music. The Big Five personality factors make an additional significant contribution to explaining the variance of general and domain-specific life satisfaction.	en_GB
