This thesis deals with homodimerization reactions of substituted phenylacetylenes and with codimerization reactions of substituted phenylacetylenes and ethyl tetrolate. Palladium-phosphane-systems were used as catalysts.Kinetic investigations of these reactions show that there is no simple reaction order, normally. Only the homodimerization reaction of phenylacetylene with a catalyst system consisting of palladium(II) acetate and triphenylphosphane proved to be a reaction of first order.Comparisons of product distibutions of some homodimerization reactions indicate that these reactions cannot be kinetically controlled by temperature influence. The structure of 2,4-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-but-1-en-3-yne was determined by X-ray analysis. This compound is a product of homodimerization reaction of 4-methoxy-phenylacetylene.
